Scum, coin, and ale. That's what brings us here — and usually in that order.

This forum is the gathering place for sellswords, paymasters, hobbyists, painters, and Oldhammer rogues from across the Old World. Whether you're fielding a full Regiment of Renown, scratch-building a Tilean pike block, painting a band of Estalian desperados, 3rd edition Mercenary Contingents or resurrecting classic 4th/5th edition Warhammer, you’ll find a place at this table.

We even have a dedicated space for Warhammer Fantasy Role-Play, and if it's First edition, even better! The Back Alley

Here’s how things work around the campfires and coin-chests.

What This Forum Is

3rd edition Warhammer- It had a strong mercenary presence in the Army Book

A hub for all things Dogs of War, including:

Classic Warhammer Fantasy battle reports

Army logs, hobby progress, and mercenary companies

Regiments of Renown discussion

Conversions, kitbashes, and model show-and-tell

Rules, lore, and Oldhammer deep dives

Marketplace and trade discussions

Campaign journals and map-based projects

If it marched for coin, carried a banner, or fled when the pay ran out — it belongs here.

A Few Simple Rules (Nothing a mercenary can't handle)
Respect the Camp.
Disagree all you like, but do it like soldiers around the same fire. Also don't bring grudges from elsewhere to here. What happens outside the bounds of this forum is not our concern.

Trolling and baiting will be dealt with. If it continues, the remedies will escalate...

And if a rule isn't spelled clearly out? The Mods and Admins have full authority to keep the peace as they see fit. If you don't like one of their calls contact the Admins.

No drama, no politics, no nonsense.
Save your duels for the tabletop. If you want to talk politics, take it elsewhere. There are plenty of places to do so on the internet, this isn't one of them.

Listen to the Officers of the Captain-General
If one of the moderators or Admins ask you to do something or knock it off? Kindly do so. If it doesn't and it keeps escalating you're bound for a trip to so see the Captain-General (Willmark) and likely to head to the dungeons (a time out) or cast out into the Darklands (banned).

Word of advice? Don't line dance the rules, that's REALLY likely to get the staff grumpy over their grog. We and you don't want that.

Keep it PG-13
Any number of posters can be here at any one time with various viewpoints. Obviously, goes without saying don't post inappropriate material or in that which is in bad taste.

Copyright and IP
In no uncertain terms: no posting of intellectual property of any company is allowed here. Nor casting of minis; talking about 3d printing of your own stuff yes, but clearly spell it out. We take IP infringement seriously as we don't want to catch flak from any corporation.

Have fun. Drink deep. Post often.
